Hi Sonny. Yes I concur on Carl Zeiss and like their designs and products a
lot.
Yes also Wetzlar park will encompass more diversity in one location.
Again I have no clue on the numbers, but I am very excited and supportive on
Dr Kaufmann's direction and commitment.
Cameras and lenses, specifically Leica cameras and lenses float my boat.
What portion of their profitability/company functionality those are, I have
no idea. I guess maybe if I did I might be able to send my r?sum? ;-)

Cheers

Maike Harbets speaks on the S2. .... So we will drop down this technology to
our other systems.
Our priority is to modernise the R system which will be in the end an R10,
definitely.

Carl Zeiss makes still camera lenses because they fancy doing it. A single
motion picture lens sells for more than probably the entire Zeiss Nikon
mount output. Every optician in these parts sell Zeiss lenses. The company
is quite diversified, similar to the old E. Leitz.

If what I've been reading is correct, Leica's Wetzlar Park will move the
firm back into diversity. Nothing I've read indicates the firm is hanging
hopes for the future on three products.
