Dwight Eisenhower was the President of Columbia 
while he was waiting for an invitation to be 
annointenedd as President by one Party or the 
other -- one of my most embarrassing memories is 
handing out literature on his behalf in 1956, and

Why I did this was a product of Parental 
pressure.  Even then, I was smart enough to know 
that Eisenhower was a Leftie Loonie.

Milton Eisenhower did have a very active career 
but had no nexus with Columbia to my knowledge.  Wikipedia might tell us 
more.
