Ye-ees. However without the meter it seems like his M6 will still do
everything those ancestral ones can do when fully operational ;-)
I do have to pay homage to the 50 frame in the M3 though. Superior to any
other M viewfinder I have used IMHO. OK my only Contaxii connection is a
Kiev clone and its finder is fine. But its built like a T34, not a fine
watch.

Failure of electronics wouldn't bother you if you shot with the Leica IIIs,
the Contaxii, or the M3.
