Absolutely. The nice thing about the M8 is it's automatic fill flash  
setting. You can set auto slow sync all the way down to 32 seconds. I  
set the slowest sync to 1/30 sec. It will set the shutter to whatever  
the ambient light sets the shutter to and then fire the flash.  
Perfect fill.
