We will have to wait for the reviews to find out. I think it is the  
Sony chip but my dealer, for what it's worth, told me that the Nikon  
processing engine is much better then Sony's. I saw the Sony A900  
after it was purchased and returned to the dealer with some kind of  
an issue. I wasn't told what it was.
