I'm actually using both the Nikon D700 *and* the Sony Alpha 900 with his
outstanding Carl Zeiss Vario Sonnar 24-70mm f2.8 zoom and if Nikon
images at 3.200 ISO are almost usable the Sony has some quality up to
1.600 ISO. Every sensor has noise at *all* ISO value and very often some
guys see the bottle half empy or...half full. Beeing the same sensor
only the better experience of Nikon making cameras may suggest the new
D3x could be better than the Sony concerning noise. Let's see.. To
remain on topic I've compared images from the Sony with th CZ zoom and
the M8 with a Summicron ASPH and surely due to the much bigger
resolution the Sony images look more detailed for me

Regards

Felix
