Chris,
I've been following your R-D1 posts with great interest. As I'm
currently in school studying journalism, I'm going to be forced to get
a digital camera, possibly as early as this coming semester. Yeah, I'm
all film right now and I love it. Anyways, are there any impressions of
the camera system which you may have passed over mentioning here on the
LUG? Sounds like it's a good build. I hear and see good things about
its ISO and low noise. Do you think the crop factor is a hinderance at
all with M lenses? Seems like they would just get sharper. How about
workflow? Quick to use from shutter snap to uploading on the web?
Anyways, I appreciate your thoughts on the camera.
Thanks!
Phil Forrest
