To get away from the terse topics of today and into the spirit of the
season here are pictures taken by my Son-in-law Mike. He and Erin
visited this famous house which is located near their home in
Cleveland, OH. This was the setting of the classic Christmas Story
movie written by Cleveland native Jean Shepherd. Exteriors and a few
interiors were shot at this house, which is now a tourist attraction.
Mike, following my encouragement, shot these using available light and
did a good job of capturing the scenes. He was using my old D60 and a
slow consumer lens. Really exciting to see him, my daghter, son and
Daughter-in-Law really getting into photography.
