To my knowledge, GM hasn't made a LaSalle in sixty or seventy years.  The 
one I well remember was a roadster from around 1937.  As you would expect, 
it belonged to a prosperous lawyer in my hometown.  He took his son and me 
to his rural cabin in an old pickup, but I never got a ride in the LaSalle.
