Richard,

Somebody screwed up or the wrong person OK'd this ad, most likely not  
a photographer. If it were printed small in a brochure it probably  
would never be noticed. This is a new lens for Canon and probably is  
just fine. Or not. But this ad won't sell them. I fully agree with you.
