Hi? LUG?ers,

Happy New Year from newbie poster in Denmark.

I was trying to sent the greeting last night but used a wrong email
account so it was rejected ? I should have gone to bed in stead ?.

Anyway, we in Denmark have entered 2009 with a fairly calm new year
according to all the traditions with:

- A new years speech by our Queen Margrethe II

- The ?90 years Birthday? (old movie shown every year)

- A lot of food, either fish (cod or sushi) or red meat

- Champagne

- The national hymen at midnight

- Large amount of fireworks (not for me though as watch a rather
serious accident when I was a kid)

I have posted two new years photos in the LUG gallery (first in 2009):

just to give a bit of the mood from around the corner from where I
live just after midnight on a rather cold and foggy night (there was
quite a lot of fireworks just after midnight in all directions ?
almost impossible to get as you never knew were to look).

This morning is beautiful bright and clear with a touch of frost,
hopefully as good sign for the year that has just started.

A little late Happy New Year from just north of Copenhagen almost 13
hour into the new year.

Cheers J?rn
