Hey Gene, I really was kidding about Orange County. When I was released from 
Navy active duty service at N.A.S Alameda, I gave serious consideration to 
staying in
San Francisco as I loved and still love the Bay area. Only place on the west 
coast where I think I could live happily. Air temp hereabouts will not get 
as high as freezing for the next ten days. Overnight actual lows this Wed 
and Thurs will be - 23 C.(- 9 F)!

A better question is, Can you afford to live in Southern California? Housing 
prices are outrageous. Also traffic is really bad these days. I'm glad I no 
longer live there, although I do miss In-N-Out Burgers. ;-)
