Well, I've voted for pretty much every party at some time. In the
end, it didn't seem to make much difference either in the outcome, in
the overall 'quality' of the politicians, and certainly not in the
ultimate immovable object, the bureaucracy.
All political leaders have made many astute decisions, an awful lot
of expedient decisions and too many out and out blunders. The trend
continues. Don't expect too much of Obama, only that he'll be a
significant improvement over Bush.
