Frank is right. I have followed Mrs. Filippone's guidelines often,
especially when aggrieved by a recalcitrant client: write the sharp letter
venting annoyance, slip it in desk drawer for a day or two, withdraw and
read and then, much more often than not, place in circular file.

My exercise this morning began intending only to be my own little
celebration of the most remarkable and memorable public day in my life. I
let it get away from me and write this to express to you all my regrets not
for the substance of what I wrote but for the fact that I then hit the
'send' key.

Have a great 2009, everyone!

Best,

Seth
