I spoke too soon.

Lightroom v2 will start ... once. Not twice, only once.

The next time I tried to start it, it absolutely hogs the CPU and
never releases it.

I can start it, I can let it do the weekly back-up I've asked for, but
then it goes into a seemingly (10 minutes now) eternal loop. I'm
packing anyway, so I'm just letting it loop around to see if it ever
comes back.

I've used this laptop for two years now and I have never, ever had a
problem with anything other than Lightroom. Don't know why.

Daniel
