Larry,

all civilized countries play cricket :-) :-)

Village cricket in the UK is very probably the best way of spending a 
gloriously sunny summer afternoon with a glass of nicely cooled cider or 
beer, strawberries, scones, clotted cream and tea for afters - sheer 
paradise.
