Subject: [Leica] Vuescan and dng scans

I have been playing with my scanner and different formats. I just
noticed that Vuescan allows a scan to dng, which in turn allows a lot
more adjustments in Lightroom. The scans also look better this way.
One drawback is that each scan is 110mb! Is there any setting to make
the scans smaler? A tiff scan of the same image is only 30mb.

On a side note if I run the vuescan dng through the adobe dng converter
it then becomes only 74 megs. I'd still like to get it a little smaller
if possible.

Any help is appreciated.
