Sue -  I only have two filters and only one coded lens.  It's not a 
problem.  The only time I notice any magenta cast is when I'm 
photographing people wearing black polyester, which is almost 
never.   I loaded a profile for my M8 into LR (you can also use ACR 
or Bridge) and the colors look fantastic to me with no filters and no 
coding.  If you do notice a problem, you could always convert to B&W, 
which is sometimes better anyway.

You won't regret getting the M8 and you'll save enough on film and 
developing to pay for it in no time.
