During my years of "darkroom days" it was always silence in the darkroom.
The only noise to be heard was running water washing prints or the ticking
of a timer. If anyone was invited for a visit while I was working, rarely
did anyone say anything because they'd heard "the darkroom is "ted's quiet
place of concentration" while he's printing. Lot's of babbling after the
white lights came on. :-)

The few times we tried music it became an annoyance of sound as I waved my
hands been enlarger lens and exposing paper burning in or dodging an area of
the print..

However, now the lights are on the place is just jumping with all kinds of
music, from opera, to heavy metal to sounds and language I don't have a clue
what they're trying to sing?????????/ But I fined the beat is the moment and
keeps me wired! :-)
