 I don't do what is known as "street" whatever it is; we don't have a
commonality among the 1000 or so members at the street list.

Color is probably immaterial, though I seem to get little notice with a
black M8.   I have used both silver and black cameras, never had a white or
blue.

I think the camera you can shoot with little notice is the best,  One of the
best hip shooters I know uses a silver. (mostly)   See him at work here:

But as Ted alludes, it's not the camera that draws attention, it is how the
photographer uses it.

I can become nearly invisible while shooting, (that might seem incredible if
you saw the vast Sonny Carter, but it is true.)
