It qualifies as the most versatile unit I've ever used for positioning a camera into very difficult places from virtually ground level to maximum extension of to reaching over objects I use a G1377M Center Ball Head #3 which is rock solid with a RRS quick release This set allows for very rapid set up. I have 4 gitzo tripods from very small to one of the largest.
