Thanks to everyone who replied, on and off list. I decided to get the

1.2/35mm and thanks to the magic of Paypal and e-mail Stephen Gandy

will get in on its way to Alicante tomorrow.

Of course, I already have an excellent 35mm lens, but given the

difference between 1.2 and 2.5 and my affinity for dark bar interiors,

it will be very handy to have this lens.<<<<<<<<<<<

Hi Nathan,

If your lens is as good as the one I have you will love it! Focusing is a
dream as the ring is right where it should be and the fingers fit like a
glove. Smooth and quick! I ordered mine to compliment my Noctilux when Sandy
Carter and I started shooting our book, "Women in Medicine. A Celebration of
Their Work." Unfortunately it didn't arrive until we were finished. However,
I've certainly made lots of use since and on the M8 it's sort of glued
there!

Creates crisp, snappy beautiful recorded images that I've blown up sections
enormously and it's held together sharply in colour or B&W, image wise.

Be interested in seeing what you shoot in those darkened bars you hang out
in! ;-) No filters, no fiddling, just clicked onto the body and blazed away!
;-)

Beautiful!

Cheers,

ted
