That's certainly true.  I have the 4800 but use the 9600 ink 
cartridges in it.  They fit in fine but the doors don't close.  It's 
much, much cheaper to buy the huge ink cartridges.
My 4800 has been working great for several years but I'm cussing at 
it tonight because when I need to make a few quick prints, all I get 
is banding, banding, banding.  I'm sure it's my fault.  I've set 
something wrong.  Usually if I turn everything off and go to bed, it 
fixes itself overnight.  Here's hoping!
