So far, (knock on wood) my laptop has recognized every card I've 
stuck into it.  I have up to 8 GB only but they are all recognized in 
the built-in slot in my Dell laptop.  For my desktop, I have a 
SanDisk downloader, but I almost never use that since when I'm 
downloading I'm usually on the laptop.
