Back in 1984
I did the floor plans and elevations
for the building I now live in.
(essentially built within and on top of
a concrete block garage, built in 1922,
used for tractors and trucks on an old farm)

After having the original 6 sheet draft bid
and finding plans coming in at twice what I could afford

I drove to Artist and Display
and purchased my first $30 electric eraser.
