Hi, Hoppy!

Cynthia and I enjoyed your Berlin gallery, being Teutonophiles of long
standing. We enjoyed it especially because (I am embarrassed to say)
we never got to visit Berlin in the 3 years we lived in Germany, and I
have just made plans to attend a professional meeting there in
October. We'll be there for a week, the conference is only 2 days, and
the subject of the conference is not compellingly interesting to me.
That's the elliptical way of saying that the reason to go to the
conference is to visit Berlin on a tax advantage and that some of the
conference hours might be spent extramurally ;-)

Anyone on the list have any observations/recommendations regarding a
stay in Berlin the week of 11 October? Having spent the years
1979-1982 in Germany, we'd be especially interested in 20th
anniversary commemorations of the Fall of the Wall.
