I too have enjoyed "using" the M8
long before the M8.2 became available.
I'd not have wanted to wait for the 8.2.
As most of you know
it was love at first feel
for me.
;~)

Would I like to have an 8.2? sure.

(like to have one of those Lotus cars Frank recommended too.)

However, if I had M8.2 cash to spend on another digital camera.
I'd probably pickup one of the CFV refurbished backs
to put my CM back in service.

I'd love to hear/feel the 8.2 shutter sometime.
I do not particularly like the sound/feel of the M8 shutter.
Yet given that everything else about the M8
works just fine for me
the shutter's never felt like a deal breaker.
