In the workshop I attended last month with Gene Richards, also a very 
soft-spoken guy, one of the students (there were only 14 of us) kept 
using a big Canon with the infra-red focusing light bouncing off of 
Gene as he talked and the red-eye flash enabled so each flash was 
multiple bursts.  It was so distracting, somebody finally told him to 
quit.  In the meantime, I was taking photos with my M8 and the Nokton 
and nobody knew it ;-)
