I believe we all have these problems, certainly I do...and each time I  
start from scratch...

my hope is to make the photo look like the reality, especially with  
the feelings,  that I remember, that prompted the image...

so I don't know the answer, however I must say that once you want to  
show things that you can't see in the darkness,

then you are markedly altering the original scene, for good or bad...

maybe that will work, a sense of hightened reality, or whatever, and  
make you a successful artist, maybe even a commercial success...
