Consumer friendly laws. Fair trade laws. Laws against manufacturers
setting real prices ( the words.. MSRP).
All from the days of anti monopolistic behaviors.
Al of that from too many lawyers.....

It has always amazed me that I have to pay 50 to 100% more for the same item
than an American, I don't know why it is...
