Hi,

Technically you are probably correct but I spent my twenties in chronic debt 
and I'm never going there again no matter how compelling the economic 
argument.

Like I said, I thought this up after I'd spent the money which should tell 
you a lot about why I spent it.

Neil,

If you believe (as I do) that inflation is going to be severe, are you not
better off going into debt for your gear (assuming a fixed interest rate)?
