Tonight I asked Fan Ho about his metering techniques (check out his
book preview http://www.modernbook.com/livtheatre_fanho_preview.pdf)
and he said he just metered on the face and let the highlight and
shadow fall wherever they are. A lot of his images have bright misty
lights and he said he doesn't try to burn them in or anything. The
prints are amazing.
