I think its best to stick with the price point.
Get the cards they want you do buy.
The ones they crank out the most of.
If the next card up cost only a few dollars more especially if the price per
megabyte is about the same then that's the one you're being directed to buy.
Buy it; if that's what you've got in your wallet.

I have ultra small cards, smaller than a gig which cost me hundreds of
bucks.
It's embarrassing!
I hide them in the back of my draw because I'm not gong to throw away
something which cost me a couple of hundred dollars.
The card which cost 500 bucks today cost 50 bucks tomorrow and 5 bucks next
week. 
When it comes to cards its not smart to aim high.
I'd aim medium. 
Slightly Pink on the inside.

Play the long game.
