Argue C3 here, too. Was my Dad's and I still have a few slides taken with 
it.  Took crisp outdoor photos when there was lots of light. Still have it 
on my shelf, though would make a good door stop.

I do still have my first camera, which is an Argus C3 (I assume it still
works). I loved it at the time. I was a junior in high school and enjoyed
looking at the wonderful pictures in the magazines and wished I could see
those places and photograph them myself; this was the early 1950s. I lived
in a small Midwest town and when I got the opportunity to drive my boss on
his vacation trip to Montana, I knew I wanted a good camera to take with me.
I think my only shopping opportunity at the time was out of a Sears &
Roebuck catalog. That's how I got started with my hobby of photography and
have enjoyed it every since.

I'm sort of wondering if it might be a neat idea to furnish you with an
older photo taken with the camera as well as a current picture taken with
it. That could be interesting.
