Maybe that's just a terminology thing then? I'm talking "crop factor" from
the sensor dimensions and I think you are asking about cropping from the
captured image?
I'm trying to describe the difference when you want a 'normal' viewpoint but
you get the apparent distortion and the greater depth of field but not the
traditional field of view of a 20mm lens in this case.
Don't get me wrong I think that micro four thirds in particular is a very
smart development for the market and is now starting to provide some real
benefits in design and form factor etc. Having said that I think the E620
for example makes the best for thirds sense for a dSLR user (the viewfinder
is primary for me)
I'm just interested to hear if others share those same reservations that I
mentioned. I won't flood the list with more responses right now but I am
hoping that others might want to contribute to the discussion. Not often I
contribute on anything non-Leica here ;-)
