Last evening my favorite Japanese saw quickly became totally gummed up when attempting to saw off a bit of the trunk of the Christmas tree. It took 10 minutes to remove the gooey sap from the saw which only cut an inch into the trunk. I plugged in the Milwaukee Sawsall; put the coarse, cross cut blade in; and in less than a minute and the job was done. Amazingly - no sap on the blade - none. The speed, correct set on the teeth, and proper kerf kept it clean.
