AKA "Hackintosh."  I saw a list somewhere of the most suitable 
netbooks ... although almost all run off an Atom processor, some 
brands are apparently more mac-friendly than other brands, due to 
other hardware issues.

I'm with you, across the fence.  Can't see the point - once you're 
beyond proof of concept, which is only redeemable in geek-karma-
points, I don't think you'd gain anything signficant.
