Yes, everybody complains about the lack of documentation.  All of the 
information is there on the site but you really have to search for 
it.  The best thing to do is ask a question in the forum and let 
somebody else find it for you ;-)  You can print out a really big 
manual, too, that answers a lot of questions, but I really found out 
more on the forum.  It's worth it to stick with it and learn the 
software.  It does make a big difference.  I've scanned over 10,000 
slides with it so far.
