I love my Kindle. I have the small one and Tom has the large
one. The large one is handier for reading newspapers. We subscribe
to two newspapers on the Kindles. The small one is handier for
reading in bed or on exercise machines. I read about a book a night
on it. The only thing I've been disappointed in is that I thought
the books would be a lot cheaper just downloaded instead of
printed. They still average about $9.99. I have thousands of
printed books and was running out of shelf room! With the Kindle,
you can read the book and delete it from your Kindle but it will be
forever in your archives at Amazon and you can always download it
again if you want to read it again.

I see that the big one is not available for two to three weeks, but I
got Tom his months ago. I guess it's an older version.
