I've been experimenting with editing this shot both with CameraRaw and normal Photoshop tools, usings masks, adjustment brushes, graduated filters, WB sampling etc etc. Its the most peculiar colour combination that I've run across. The effect with the two discrete areas of above and below waterline is as though each is very different, almost two shots combined. Some of it is reflection from sky and rock and water but its just plain odd. The clipped highlights from the scan still have the same magenta leaning too suggesting it has really been stomped on by the scanning software. At least I haven't been able to produce something believable. My only other approach would be a re-scan with some other software.
