[Leica] NOW: OATMEAL RATIONS! :-)

During winter COTC training excerises in the Canadain Armoured Corp we had 
oatmeal bars you were supposed to put in a pot and boil with water outside 
your armoured car (a tank like vehicle only on wheels) Staghound for those 
who may have been a zipperhead! :-)

However we decided to eat it in a different manner. Chew them apart and 
swallow as much as you could then drink real hot coffeee! And in a blink? 
Poof your stomach felt warm and full as the oats expanded! Beat the heck out 
of standing around a small fire pot wating for water to boil and stirring. 
:-)  At -40 degrees C. That's 40 degrees below zero for those who don't 
understand Celcius temp figures.  Some days it was the best meal of the day.
