Thanks Mark. 

As for the stitching, yes, I was wondering how my iMac would cope with 17 
fat TIFF files to stitch in PS. Normally my panos consist of 10-12 images. 
As it is, it did fine, just took longer of course, particularly since I also 
had Safari, the mail client and iTunes going at the same time.
