Ken it will be a much slower process than with a digital camera of course.
Ideally though you want the camera to be calibrated to the centre` of the
tolerance range and lenses if necessary adjusted to that ideal state, not
adjusted to your specific camera. There is a commercial target available
which is meant  to give you precise alignment and adjustment.

You may like to talk to any competent Leica technician about them
calibrating your camera for you if you think that it is out. Depending on
where you live Leica themselves of course can do the job.
