I had this lens for about a year and a half and really didn't use any other 
lenses during that period.  It's a fantastic lens.  Very dependable.  There 
might be other lenses out there that are sharper in the center, but the ZM 
is very even across the frame, very flare resistant, and shows almost zero 
distortion.  The only complaints one could have of it are it's size and 
ergonomics.  I didn't mind the size (still smaller than the 50 Summicron I 
had at the time), though I did find the 1/3 aperture stops a little funny.

I have read of ZM lenses developing wobble or something like it, but in all 
the lenses I've ever had, the only two that have had problems were a Leica 
lens and a Canon EF 50/1.4 - broken focus, which is a common problem with 
that lens.

The only reason I sold the ZM was I decided that 35mm wasn't for me.  I 
ended up with a 28mm that I like a lot more.
