I have not cleaned the sensor of my D300 even once - the inbuilt sensor
cleaning (or whatever) works brilliantly - I am not shy about changing
lenses in the field either, which in the places I go can be very dusty. I
just set it to clean the sensor on both switching the camera on and off. For
sensor cleaning, I still think that the Lenspen range is the best - dry
cleaning, very simple, very effective, inexpensive. I was put onto this by
John Shaw.
