With the right qualifications, yes, you can use a Viso I on an M body. 
The rub is coordinating the mirror in the Viso with the shutter release 
on the camera body.

This website might be useful. Spencer, may want to consider linking to 
it from the new wiki.

The question arises since you are getting a LTM, the IIIg, why not use it?

IMO the Viso I is only practical on a tripod for static work. The Hektor 
lens head can serve well for closeups but my need to be cleaned to 
realize it's potential.

Hopefully the kit coming includes adapter for the lens head to the viso 
and a release that couples the Viso to the LTM.
