I've spun her, and photographed her, on this particular merry-go- round many times. But this was the first time I climbed on with her and saw the ground moving. it was one of those moments where I didn't think about photography at all until I climbed on and got us moving feeling what she felt and seeing the background in motion. Can I handle the camera settings, focus and still hang on with my legs? Then a quick thought about shutter speed: fast enough to stop her movement slow enough to blur the background 1/30 with a 28? sure why not? a guess @ f:11.5, focus, shoot 3 in quick succession then grab the bar again, wondering if I got anything all over in a matter of few seconds.
