that 1.33 such a shame that
'tis better to just let the $20k worth of glass lie in repose
until that $7k suddenly appears in the wallet
in the worst economy in many a decade?

for me the answer was no 3 (or was it 4) years ago.
absolutely no regrets with 3 or 4 years of Leica M8 shooting.
the glass has also been very happy on the M8.

obviously YMMV (your mileage may vary).
