Last year I had inadvertently left my Voigtlander VC meter (first version)
in my pocket during a washload.

The results were, not surprisingly, dismal.

After a few days' drying, the meter would work-sort-of-without displaying
the green "exposure OK" diode.

So, I put it to the side of my desk and used another (sekonic) clip-on
meter.

Today, happened to pick up the VC meter and pushed the button. To my
surprise, ALL the diodes worked perfected. Checked exposure against my
Bessa R2a with a Summilux 50, and it's spot on.

Time to shoot some more flora and fauna-especially the fauna!
