Biggest future impact to agriculture, including wine growing and 
distribution, will be from increasingly expensive transportation costs as 
the price of energy skyrockets up with diminished non-renewable supplies.

 

No more fresh strawberries, melons, etc. from the southern part of the US, 
Mexico and South America in Canadian winters.
